On 8 January the Ministry of Finance held another of a series of meetings to discuss new transfer pricing regulations. The meeting saw a numerous representation of the business world and experts from the tax consulting industry. SENDERO Tax & Legal was represented by Andrzej Jagiełło and Michał Wodzicki as our transfer pricing specialists.
The discussion focused on issues with the new regulations in force since 1 January 2019, such as new tools for recharacterisation of transactions, alternative transfer pricing methods, safe harbours, reporting thresholds, transfer pricing adjustments, and identification of related parties.
The consultations are expected to give rise to the issuance of tax guidelines by the Ministry to address, inter alia, matters discussed at the meting. The guidelines should be published by late March.
