The National E-Invoicing System (KSeF) will become mandatory for most taxpayers as of 1 February and 1 April 2026, as planned. Marcin Łoboda, secretary of state with the Finance Ministry and head of National Revenue Administration, said the priorities for the coming months are education and taxpayer training.
The KSeF implementing legislation is scheduled to be sent for presidential signature in July or August 2025. At the same time, the Ministry has already provided API’s technical documentation and the structured invoice template.
Businesses should not wait with preparing for KSeF implementation. It’s high time for a procedural audit, staff training and IT system reconfiguration.
Company-wide KSeF implementation is a complex process requiring software integration, data verification, changes in invoicing processes, definition of user rights, and adjustments to internal document management procedures.
