The Supreme Court held (case no. III CZP 32/16) that where shares have been purchased using assets that are jointly held by spouses as their community property, the shares become part of that community property even if the shareholder rights are exercised by only one of the spouses. This is important for share deal planning and for legal due diligence of share transactions. More information here.
